Green Indeed

Outfit Details: Dress- FE U.S.A // Tights- Modcloth // Shoes- Bait Footwear

I've never been one to celebrate St. Patrick's day, but I decided wearing some green wouldn't hurt! I've been really into celebrating every holiday this year. So far, so festive! After all, green is slowly turning into one of my favorite Spring colors.

Speaking of green, my husband spied this little dress at the store and made me get it. Doesn't he have amazing taste?!  He's the best shopping buddy, and always breaks down my penny pinching ways. I've also been looking for a dress that has a vintage feel to it, and this fits the category. And it has polka dots! What more can I ask for?

Also, don't forget to enter the Scarlett Garnet giveaway! It ends tomorrow!

Hearts, Stripes, and Everything Nice.

Outfit Details: Top (which is actually a dress)- Forever 21 // Skirt- Forever 21 // Shoes- J.Crew
// Sunglasses- Tumbleweeds Handcraft // Purse- Thrifted

Hearts, stripes, bows, navy, and red are all on the list of my favorite things. Since I have no self control, I wear them all at the same time. Why not, right?!

The colors I wore today remind me of the beach. Oh how I miss the beach! It has been quite a while since I've taken a trip to Santa Cruz or Monterrey, but today I dressed up like that was my destination. If you can't go to the beach, bring the beach to where you are. That was today's theory. I didn't get to enjoy any waves or sand in person, but I am definitely enjoying it in spirit.

Here Comes the Sun

Outfit details: Dress- Forever 21 // Tights- Modcloth // Shoes- Natualizer // Shades- Tumbleweeds Handcraft

The sun decided to make an appearance this weekend, and I love it!  It was so warm out that I even wore a sleeveless dress! No sweater in sight today. I am totally ready for more of this weather!

I know that we are about a month away from it being officially spring, but I am already ready for what it brings. Spring has got to be my favorite season. The weather is perfect, the flowers bloom, kids bust out with their lemonade, and I get to wear colorful dresses! Oh, and sunglasses! It doesn't get much better than that, right?!

DIY Felt Hair Bow

Bows are perfect when you want to add a cute little detail to any outfit. You can wear them on a half tail, on a bun, on the side of your hair, just about anyway! Just get creative, and you are sure to get adorable results! Fortunately, they are also super easy to make too!

 1. Two strips of felt. One for your bow (the larger one) and one for the middle of the bow (the skinnier one). // 2. Small barrette // 3. Scissors // 4. Glue gun

 1. Grab the larger strip of felt and fold both sides. Make sure that both sides are even. Then use your glue gun to add a drop or two on each side of the bow. // 2. Once the glue is dry, clinch the bow in the middle. If one of the sides comes apart, add a little bit more glue, and then clinch it again. // 3. Now you can grab the skinnier felt piece and wrap it around the middle of the bow where you clinched it. Use as much of the skinny piece as you think works. I only went around the bow with it twice. // 4. Then you cut the skinny piece and add a drop of super glue. // 5. Now you can glue on your small barrette. // 6. You're finished!

Theses bows are so easy and fast to make! You could even surprise a friend with a little handmade gift!

Happy crafting!

Weekends are for fun, and for fun outfits too! Today I got to wear one of my favorite dresses that my sister gifted me! She had gotten it when it first came out years ago, and she knew how much I loved it. so she gave it to me! What a sweet sister I have! I wore it for a day out with the hubby.

This weekend was quite an exciting one for me! I found lots of great deals on things that I've been wanting for a while. However, my favorite of all is my new Cannon Rebel T4i! This is one thing I've been wanting for quite a while now. I've been having so much fun with it today! I have a lot to learn, but I'm really excited for all the photos and videos that are to come!

Also, we have a winner for the KM Little Somethings Giveaway!

I'm Dreaming of a White...

Outfit details: Bow- c/o KM Little Somethings, Top- Thrifted, Skirt- J.Crew, Belt- Another Line, Shoes- Thrifted

Oh wait, Christmas was last month! Yes, I am one of those Christmas addicts. Today's Coast to Coast Challenge was Winter Whites, and it reminded me of how much I want to see snow! I live in Modesto, CA and snow is nowhere to be seen. So I can just wear white instead, right?! I don't usually wear all white outfits, but recently I've been seeing blog posts that have been inspiring me to wear lots of white this Winter. Of course, I had to throw a few red bows in there. The bow I am wearing on my head is one of my favorite crochet bows from KM Little Somethings shop on Etsy. It adds a warm little detail to my outfit! I love it!

So what's your go-to Winter color?
