Merry Christmas, lovely people! I hope you all are having an amazing time with your families! That's what this time of year is all about.
Even though we're still in the midst of moving, we went out on a little Christmas dinner date with mom and dad last night. We had such a great time! Then we came home, watched a movie, and beat Santa to our Red Velvet cake. So glad the hubby built the couches yesterday. We got to enjoy it all in our cozy little living room.
I hope you all continue to enjoy your Christmas! Enjoy your families and those you love the most!

Leftover Wrapping Paper Ideas
I can imagine that many of you have already started wrapping your Christmas gifts. I just started today, and I still have quite a few to go. I probably won't wrap those until the day before Christmas since procrastination is in my nature. Anyway, today when I was finished wrapping some gifts I noticed that I had a lot of wrapping paper leftover. So I thought of a few ways that this pretty paper won't go to waste.
1. Make a present bow.
Step 1: Cut the leftover wrapping paper into small strips. If you want to make a bigger bow, you can cut it into bigger strips as well.
Step 2: Fold the strips into a ring.
Step 3: Then you will stack these strips on top of each other. I started by placing them into a cross. Then I placed two more diagonally. It'll start looking more like a bow now.
Final result: In the end, the bow should look a bit like this (or maybe even better).
2. Make a gift tag.
To make a gift tag, all you will need is wrapping paper, card stock, glue, and string. All I did was cut both my wrapping paper and card stock into a square. Then I glued them together. The card stock keeps the wrapping paper from folding or rolling up. I didn't have a hold punch, so I used a needle to make a hole on the top of the gift tag. Once you have a hole, you put the string through it and you're set!
3. Make a Christmas card.
Making a Christmas card is much like making a gift tag, except it's just a bit bigger. The first step is to cut both the wrapping paper and card stock into a big square. Then you glue them together. Once they are glued together, you fold this square in half. Now you have a Christmas card! I decorated the inside with the left over wrapping paper as well. There is so much you can do with these scraps!
There is just something special about handmade goodies, especially during Christmas time! I hope these ideas come in handy for you! Just get creative, and don't let that pretty paper go to waste! If you have anymore leftover wrapping paper ideas, tell us! The more the merrier!

Holiday Shopping Day with Momma
Today I had a lovely day doing some holiday shopping with my momma. 14 days until Christmas, and I only have one more present to get for a special someone. I love this season. Things can get a little crazy at shopping centers and whatnot, but there is something special about running around looking for something that will make someones face light up on Christmas day. It's the little things in life that make it so great.
Outfit Details:
Cardigan- Target
Dress- Mimi Chica
Tights- Target
Shoes- Minnetonka Classic Leather Fringed boot
I also made sure that I wore some comfy shoes, because I knew I would do lots of walking on my hunt for Christmas presents. My outfit was inspired by one of my favorite blogger's recent outfits, Tieka from Selective Potential. I love her style and the way she mixes prints! Mixing prints is so much fun. Buffalo plaid is so perfect for this cool weather too! I've waited so long to bust this cardi out of my closet. I also mixed the plaid cardigan with a heart and dot dress. Comfiest dress EVER. Oh and it has pockets! Dresses with pockets are every girls jam.
Well I sure did have an amazing day.
The holidays are definitely happy.

The North Pole moved into my house today.
The tree is up. The little Christmas city moved from the garage into the living room. There are lights and garland all over the house. I can hear Mariah in the background hittin' those high notes. It's definitely Christmas!
Happy holidays, Lovelies!

Today I am an ornament
I've been so excited about Christmas that today I unconsciously dressed like an ornament. This is what happens when you are listening to Christmas jams while you're getting ready! It happens to me every year. My love for Christmas just exudes from within me!

Today was also my mom's birthday! Happy birthday to the best mama on Earth! She's not just my mom. She is my best friend, mentor, and inspiration. I am so blessed to have her in my life. Some of the most special moments in my life are with her. Her optimism and support have inspired me reach many of the goals I have accomplished. I am so blessed to have her in my life! I love you mamasita!

The consequences of Thanksgiving
Today was a day of eating leftovers and hunting for good deals. I did the first one. I don't think I have the patience for long lines the length of the Great Wall of China. I don't enjoy getting trampled for an Xbox either. So I just waited until everyone that was shopping at 3 a.m. went to sleep. Then I went on a journey for Christmas decorations! Woo hoo! Christmas is here! It is definitely the most wonderful time of the year! I will probably have Pandora on the She & Him holiday station until January.
Well comfort foods lead to comfortable dresses. I sure did overeat! I needed some room for that pumpkin pie I devoured. So I wore one of the most comfortable dresses in my closet.

Recently, I have been addicted to shopping on Instagram shops! I am also addicted to selling things too. I just love hearing back from happy people who love the things they receive. I also love great mail days! It feels like Christmas every time I get something I've been anticipating in the mail. I got the bike necklace from a shop called @shophon on IG. Also that adorable phone case, is from @shopourcitylights. Both shops are wonderful, and I recommend them! If you decide to shop on IG one day, visit me too! my shop is @shoplittleredbowtique!
Well I hope you all have a great weekend!
