Sweet Sunday.

Sunday was definitely fun day. We had my nephew Levi with us this Sunday, and we had so much fun. It's always a blast when that kiddo is around. We went to Funworks, which is like a mini golf/arcade/go kart deal. We attempted to play some putt putt golf, but it was unbearably hot outside. So we stayed in the arcade trying to get some tickets to win Levi a Cars toy he had his eye on. Lightning McQueen is his homeboy. I also found out that he loves Skee Ball just like his auntie. He was not having the kiddie games! Such a lovely day with the family. I am so blessed to have these people in my life.

 So how are you all recovering from this weekend? Gosh, waking up this morning was such a challenge for me. I had gotten so used to sleeping in until 9 and staying in my PJ's all day. It's easy to get used to the good life. Lucky for me, there's such thing as dry shampoo! Those extra 20 minutes of sleep made all of the difference. I definitely needed that break. Now I'm back to reality and that's okay too. Money don't grow on trees, and I am so blessed to have a job during these hard times.

Well this week is going to be a busy one, which should also make it a fast one. I'm looking forward to Friday. I get outta work early on Friday! Woo hoo! These are the kinds of things I look forward to all week. Anyway, I hope you all have a great week!

 Happy birthday sweetheart! I am so excited to be celebrating your birthday with you today. Here comes another year of life, and I am so glad that I get to live it with you. I am so blessed to have such wonderful person like you in my life. Thank you for bringing me so much joy and completing me. Thanks for being the best friend I've ever had, and for sticking by my side no matter what. You are such a beautiful person, inside and out! You've accomplished so much in your life, and I can't wait to see the multitude of things you will accomplish in the future. You're amazing. I love you! Now lets have some more cake.

Happy Valentine's day, loves! Whether you have a Valentine or not, there is someone out there who loves you and that is all that matters. Today is a day to celebrate everyone you can't live without. Yes, this should be done everyday but why not take advantage of the cute cupcakes and candy! The candy and cupcake part is the not so everyday thing, which is why I love this holiday so much!

I got to spend this day with my sweet husband. I am such a lucky lady to have this man in my life. He is so supportive and loving. We always have the most amazing time together. So today was perfect! There's no other hand that I would rather hold.

Girls + Levi Day

 My mom, sister, and I are the three musketeers. We always have a great time when we are together, and with Levi, my baby nephew, we have an even better time! Today we had a little date. The weather was perfect. We ate, shopped, laughed, talked, and just had an amazing time! My nephew had me smiling the whole day! He's such a happy little guy, and he makes everyone around him happy as well. I especially love when I bring out my camera and he says "cheeeeese!" It is the cutest thing! If you look at his face on these pictures you can almost just hear him saying it! The only hard part about today was saying goodbye! Oh, and also the fact that I decided to wear these high heel boots! My feet were killin' me by the end of the day, but I can't complain too much... I love these boots!

Happy New Year!

Happy new year, loves! I hope you all had a wonderful New Year's Eve! It's time to start out fresh, and with a positive outlook. My goal is to maintain it! I have a good feeling about this year though. I hope to make a lot of amazing memories and to accomplish many goals this year.

Yesterday I had the best time with my family! Due to moving, we didn't get to have a proper Christmas celebration so we postponed it for New Year's Eve. My sister is one of the most amazing cooks I know, and she brought tamales and bread pudding. We stuffed ourselves just like we do every Christmas! We ate, played La Loteria, laughed, talked, and opened presents.

Ten minutes before the clock struck twelve, we got into New Years mode. We started getting the cider and the noise makers ready. Once twelve came around, I welcomed the year with a kiss from my sweetheart. We have a great year ahead of us. Celebrating these moments with the people you love is the best way to greet the year! Welcome, 2013!

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas, lovely people! I hope you all are having an amazing time with your families! That's what this time of year is all about.

Even though we're still in the midst of moving, we went out on a little Christmas dinner date with mom and dad last night. We had such a great time! Then we came home, watched a movie, and beat Santa to our Red Velvet cake. So glad the hubby built the couches yesterday. We got to enjoy it all in our cozy little living room.

Memories of 2012

2012 was SO good to me! I've accomplished a few of my goals, went to a few of my favorite places, and made memories with the people I love the most!

If you know me, you know that I am the biggest Disney fanatic! I always have been. I went to the land of Disney in March, and it was so much fun. I wish I could be there now! Disney is especially beautiful during Christmas time!

Fact: Being a Disney-atic doesn't fade with age.

I went to go see one of my favorite bands this year, GOTYE! It was definitely a fun show! I also got to spend the day in the city with my hubby. It was a lovely day! I wish we could have attended more shows this year. I missed a few that I knew we would enjoy. I think I might just make that one of my new year resolutions.

After 5 year of school, I finally got my Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Accounting in May. This is definitely one of my biggest accomplishments. If you are in school, you know how stressful/draining/time consuming school is. All the hard work pays off though!

I had so many great moments with my favorite people this year. I got closer to the man I love, I saw my nephew grow, I watched too many movies, ate too much junk, I learned many things, and I laughed until I cried when my dad put on a wig and looked like Gene Simmons on Halloween. All of these moments are my definition of a successful year.

Today I am an ornament

I've been so excited about Christmas that today I unconsciously dressed like an ornament. This is what happens when you are listening to Christmas jams while you're getting ready! It happens to me every year. My love for Christmas just exudes from within me!

Today was also my mom's birthday! Happy birthday to the best mama on Earth! She's not just my mom. She is my best friend, mentor, and inspiration. I am so blessed to have her in my life. Some of the most special moments in my life are with her. Her optimism and support have inspired me reach many of the goals I have accomplished. I am so blessed to have her in my life! I love you mamasita!

Starry Sunday.

Hello all! I hope you all had a great weekend! I sure did. Yesterday was Sunday, and Sunday's are usually the most peaceful days of each week. I spent the morning doing some major cleaning and then spent the afternoon with the family. Family time is always the best. It's something special when we all get together. It's always great to see my little nephew, and see how much he's grown. Love that little guy!

With this weight loss business I have been wearing a lot of my older clothes that didn't fit anymore. It's a really nice feeling when old jeans fit! I cleaned out my closet as well, and got rid of soooo many things that I hadn't worn in decades! (Okay maybe not decades because I've only been alive for two decades, but you know what I mean!) It is funny how many different styles were in those bags! I've been through a lot of different phases... I could have been diagnosed with multiple personalities if someone were to look through me closet before! :P

Weekend fun.

Hope everyone has been having a great weekend! Mine was full of great movies and family fun. Yesterday I watched The Artist for the first time and I absolutely loved it! If eras were different cities, I would definitely want to move to the 1920s. I love everything that they wore! and the way they danced! The movie was really cute! It was also the first silent film I ever watched as well. Ah, watch it and fall in love!

Yesterday was my sister's marriage anniversary so she left my little nephew with us for the day. He is soooo much fun! We ran around the house all day. He's growing up so much. He is starting to talk and he has the cutest little voice. He also loves Florence! So the first thing he does when he comes over is run to the window to see her. He knocks on the window and say "dog". Melts my heart. He's just the cutest little guy ever. I am one proud auntie! <3

My hubby and I also went on a movie date last night. We went to watch The Amazing Spiderman, and let me tell you the name fits it! It is amazing! I some wore red to show some Spiderman love.
