My Go-to Colors

Outfit Details: Dress- One Clothing, Shoes- Madden Girl, Headband- Modcloth, Purse- Thrifted

I could not stay away from the snooze button on my alarm this week, which led to me racing against the clock to get ready for work. 10 minutes of sleeping in definitely puts a dent on my getting ready routine of showering, blow drying my hair, applying makeup, curling my hair, and choosing my outfit. Dry shampoo can only save me for a day! Anyway, I came to find that I wore lots of black and white this week. I've always been a fan of black and white. I'm pretty sure my love for these colors started when I watched 101 Dalmatians when I was 6. Who knew that Cruella De Vil could be anyone's fashion inspo?! Like Cruella, my go-to colors are black and white. Sure, I would never hurt a puppy to make myself a coat, but you catch my drift! Black and white are such classic and easy colors to style. Black and white prints are what I usually gravitate towards: polka dots, stripes, chevrons, gingham, you name it! I also love the fact that you can wear it with any other color. Black and white makes life easy, and that's why I love it so much.

I let my black and white streak continue for the weekend as well. This dress is a new addition to my black and white collection, and I'm sure it will save me one of these mornings when I decide to take another snoozer. Anyway, this weekend has been swell. We didn't have any particular plans this weekend so we just got in the car and improvised. We ended up at Target to stock up on necessities. Of course, the whole time I was there I tried to avoid their amazing clearance aisles full of cute things I don't need. I was a good girl. Then we went to Trader Joes where all the damage was done. Needless to say, I had a lovely macaron filled evening. Thank you, Trader Joes.

  9. I'm also very drawn to all types of black and white patterns. They're effortlessly classic! I still like bright colors though--but a bright pair of tights with a black and white patterned dress is my happy place!

  11. This robe won't hide any flaws. If you're thinking that your thighs or butt square measure too massive, you will be miserable during this kind of dress. do not attempt to pull it off as a result of you found a robe you're keen on during this vogue.

  12. I love collard dresses! And I think my go to color is grey, I pair that with most colors.
And how did you manage to say no to Target's clearance? It's so hard for me to not buy anything from their dollar bins. But lately I've been eying their washi tape from the scrapbooking section.
