Hello Sunshines! Hope everyone had a great Monday! I had a quite sunny one. This week is actually supposed to be one of the hottest this Summer. Today proved the weatherman to be right. I was so close to wearing a cardigan until I realized that the temperature outside is probably crazy compared to the temperature my heaven sent A/C gives me. So I decided to wear something a little lighter. When I think light material, I think lace. I love lace! It's so feminine, fun, and comfy! And of course, I wore it under a dress! Dresses as my favorite.... especially for the Summer!
Dress: Charlotte Russe
Shirt: Forever 21
Shoes: Thrifted
Since it was so sunny outside I thought I would bring out some flowers from my closet to give them some sun. I wore a floral print dress and my beloved floral print oxfords. Sorry about the lighting in the pictures. I think the sun wanted to part of my pictures as well! :P
I went on a date night tonight too. It was a bit of a crazy day so we went to un-manic our Monday at Red Robin.
That place is always so amazing! They have the best fries and their freckled lemonade is the best! We also went to go watch the new Madea movie. It was hilarious! I was laughing the whole time! Go watch it!
Well I am off to sleep, loves! I leave you with the video to one of my favorite songs, which was also the soundtrack to my day!

Break time is over.
Hey lovelies! Long time no talk, I know! I have been going crazy filling out job applications and trying to see where life is going to take me. Looking for a job almost feels like I'm looking for the golden ticket. Willy wonka, where are you?!
Anyway, enough of that. It's the weekend and I plan on having a quite relaxing one! So far it has been great! I've just been out and about with the hubby. Today we're home and having some fun pool time! I started reading Great Expectations by Charles Dickens around a year ago and never got to finishing it. So I'm hopping on the reading and blogging train today. Two of the most soothing things to do. Aint that right, ladies? Yesterday we got a pool. It's one of those plastic ones, but it's pretty big! My hubby has been wanting to swim for the longest. We were all over the place yesterday. We went grocery shopping, pool shopping, and bike hunting... It's always a great when we go on our adventures! I also wore one of my favorite thrift finds of all time yesterday, my shaved ice dress!
Shades: Forever 21
Dress: Thrifted
Shoes: American Eagle
When I saw this at the thrift store I nearly fainted! The print is so fun! It also turned out to be one of the most comfortable dresses in my closet! Well I'm off to have a relaxed Sunday. Here are some Instagrams that pretty much sum up this past week:
Hope you all are having a great weekend! <3

Polka Dots On Polka Dots
If you would ask me what is one print that I could wear everyday for the rest of my life, it would be polka dots. I love florals, stripes, plaid, and all kinds of other prints, but something about polka dots is just so classic. So when I was looking for something to pair with my polka dot denim shorts, I immediately though "Polka Dots!"
Top: Forever 21
Shorts: Forever 21
Shoes: Thrifted
I also love to mix prints! So I wore my floral oxfords with this polka dot fest!
Speaking of polka dots, this weekend or sometime next week (because I know how bad of a procrastinator I am) I will be adding new things to the shop and this polka dot top is going to be one of them. So what is the print you all would pick to live in for the rest of your life?

Feeling Just Peachy
Happy Thursday everyone! Can't believe how fast this week has gone by! Nonetheless, it has been a fun week. The weather has been going bananas around here! It has been crazy hot! It got up to 109 degrees yesterday. I've been trying to wear the lightest things lately. It's definitely summer! Because of this crazy heat, I finally wore my peach dress! I love the print! It goes perfect with the summer! It's almost made of the lightest material. Peaches are one of my favorite fruits. I love them when they are kind of greenish because they are so sour. Try it and add a little bit of chili powder on it. I add chili powder on everything! Anyway, here's how I wore the dress.
Dress: Forever 21
Shoes: JCrew
I wear my apple sunglasses with everything, but I didn't wear them yesterday because I didn't want to make the peaches on my dress jealous. You all know how that goes! :P
Yesterday I went to visit my sister and my angel of a nephew. As all of you have seen, I am pretty much my nephew's biggest fan. He is always such a joy! Yesterday we caught him dancing to some Sesame Street. It was too adorable! Here he is:

Welcome, Monday!
Monday, we meet again! Well I welcome this new week with open arms. Time to make some new memories, accomplish goals, and make some new goals for myself. For some reason I have a really good feeling about this week! I'm going to make it as productive as possible. Time is precious, and so is life! There is so much beauty around us and so much to be thankful for!
Today I started my day bright and early. I never thought I was much of a morning person, but it seems like I am becoming one! The earlier I wake up, the happier I am. I just feel like I get more out of my day when I start earlier. I even did my hair this morning! Sometimes I get so lazy so I just go with a braid or a bun. I just hate blow drying it! It takes so long! I don't think I want to cut it though. I like having long hair even if it can get hard to handle sometimes. The only thing I ever have an urge to cut is my bangs. Sometimes I just want some full-blown Audrey Hepburn bangs, but they just don't fit me! Side-swept is the way to go for me.
Top: Charlotte Russe
Skirt: Walter
Shoes: Chinese Laundry
Today I wore one of the Charlotte Russe tops I got the other day. I don't own much pink, but I think I need to balance out the colors in my closet. I have lots of black, white, blue, and yellow. So this was a good addition to my closet! :)
Hope you all have a marvelous Monday! <3

Weekend fun.
Hope everyone has been having a great weekend! Mine was full of great movies and family fun. Yesterday I watched The Artist for the first time and I absolutely loved it! If eras were different cities, I would definitely want to move to the 1920s. I love everything that they wore! and the way they danced! The movie was really cute! It was also the first silent film I ever watched as well. Ah, watch it and fall in love!
Yesterday was my sister's marriage anniversary so she left my little nephew with us for the day. He is soooo much fun! We ran around the house all day. He's growing up so much. He is starting to talk and he has the cutest little voice. He also loves Florence! So the first thing he does when he comes over is run to the window to see her. He knocks on the window and say "dog". Melts my heart. He's just the cutest little guy ever. I am one proud auntie! <3
My hubby and I also went on a movie date last night. We went to watch The Amazing Spiderman, and let me tell you the name fits it! It is amazing! I some wore red to show some Spiderman love.

Collars Are a Girl's Best Friend.
I was on the go all day yesterday! I ran errands with my mom in the morning, came home and made some breakfast, and then our fun day out began. We needed some energy to start our day out so we went to get some Jamba. I always get the Berry Lime Sublime. I've been told that I should try a different ones, but I always stay with the same one because I love it so much! Seems like everyone has their favorite though. What's your favorite Jamba drink?
I ran into so many good sales yesterday! I found three cute tops! I could easily say that they are new favorites! I found the first two at Charlotte Russe. They are having a big sale, and they have tons of tops with peterpan collars. If you love peterpan collars, stop by Charlotte Russe soon! I found the last top at Marshall's. It has a cute elephant print. I fell in love with the print when I saw it. It's so fun!
All of these tops have one thing in common, and it's that they have cute collars! I've had a major obsession with collars lately! I've come to the conclusion that collars are a girl's best friend.

Happy 5th of July.
Okay so today isn't exactly a holiday, but I pretty much spent the whole day recovering from yesterday's! How did you lovelies spend your fourth of July? I hope you all had a great one! Full of fun, family, and memories! I spent mine with my family at Lake Tahoe... It was too much fun! I had never been to the beach there! It was pretty amazing. I needed a day to be one with nature. I wasn't quite ready for the occasion since I thought it was going to be hot and it turned out to be quite chilly, but I guess you could never trust the weatherman. Nonetheless, It was an amazing day!
You know that a trip could never go wrong with Sour Patch candy (my Fave)! I think the road trip was the one that kept me in my PJ's most of the day today. I didn't stay home all day though. It feels too much like a weekend today! So we decided to go watch a movie. We went to watch Madagascar 3! It was the cutest/funniest movie! I always enjoy those movies. They are the cutest! I was going to watch Spiderman, but I wasn't sure about it so I went to watch something that I was sure I would love! If you did watch Spiderman, let me know how it is? I just thought I would play it safe, since I fell asleep watch The Avengers! :P I do love a superhero movie once in while though! I've actually loved all the past Spiderman movies, so I guess this shouldn't be any different, right?
Well I'm off to recover just a little more so I could have a super productive day tomorrow! Goodnight loves!

Welcome, new week.
Hope everyone had a great weekend! I had a pretty chill one. I spent most of it at home. Isn't that always the story?! :P I only stepped foot out of the house to run a few errands with my momma. I had to step out looking like a wacky 50's housewife! I wore my thrifted top for the first time too. So comfy! I also busted out one of my oldest skirts. I have been trying to bring some of my older clothes back into the "wearing cycle". I need to stop shopping and wear all the stuff I have in my closet!
Blouse: Thrifted
Skirt: Macy's
Shoes: JCrew
Sunnies: Urban Outfitters
This weekend I also discovered my new favorite app! It is a photo editing app called Lumie. It is great! It has every bokeh effect known to man! If you love bokeh go buy it! Here are a few pics that I edited with this app: As you can see I went on a bokeh spree! I have a few other photo apps I love: Pixlrmatic, Picfx, Montage, and PS Express! Instagram adds that finishing touch as well!
Today I also found a dress that I fell in love with! The pattern is just so.... Peachy! Perfect for the Summer!
I'm sure this dress will make it's appearance to the blog very soon! Can't wait to wear that bad boy!
